Why I wrote this book

I wrote Breathing Through Dementia after more than a decade of caring for my mom. My hope is that my book can help caregivers feel a little less alone in the midst of a difficult journey.

You've spent so much time caring for someone else. Now it's time to care for yourself, too.

Breathing Through Dementia was written to help you find moments of calm, regulate your nervous system, and remember

that your well-being matters just as much as the person you're caring for.

You deserve support. You deserve compassion. You deserve to breathe.
